Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri holds a Bachelor
of Science degree and MBA from Ahmadu Bello
University (ABU) Zaria, Nigeria. He began
his career as a Lecturer at University of
Maiduguri in 1979.

Alhaji was at various times Executive Director,
Hydro Quest Nigeria Limited; Board member,
Students Loans Board, Federal Ministry of
Education; Chief Executive: Bogaru
International Ltd; Special Assistant and
to the Minister of Agriculture. Alhaji Waziri
was born on 14 September 1952.

He was also Senior Special Assistant to the
President (Employers/OPS); Coordinator of
Nigeria's National Poverty Eradication Programme
(NAPEP) and Chairman, Road Safety Commission
of Nigeria. Between 2005 and 2006, he served
as Executive Secretary of Nigeria's Petroleum
Technology Development Fund (PTDF).
