Apart from the activities of the Permanent Delegation, the participation of Nigerian delegates, experts and specialists in the work of UNESCO's various intergovernmental bodies will also be reflected on our site. Indeed, Nigeria is an elected Member State on seven of such intergovernmental bodies. Nigeria also has observer status on all others.

Notably, Nigeria is currently a Member of the Executive Board of UNESCO
