The Permanent Delegation to UNESCO:
On 10 th February 1972, the Sultanate of Oman joined UNESCO. The Permanent Delegation of the Sultanate of Oman to UNESCO was established in 1984, following the ministerial decision no. 19/1984 to install a permanent representation to UNESCO.
The Permanent Delegation of the Sultanate of Oman to UNESCO is responsible for the follow-up and coordination of projects between the Sultanate of Oman and UNESCO.
