 Intercultural Philosophy
As a follow-up of its project on Intercultural Philosophy,
UNESCO will publish the report of the symposium "Conditions for a Peaceful
Cultural Encounter - Retrospective and Prospective Views of a Model of Cultural
Encounters", held in co-operation with the Society of Intercultural Philosophy.
This report, focuses on the philosophical and ethical foundations of intercultural
dialogue and exchange.

World Heritage of Philosophy
UNESCO is launching a project on the " World
Heritage Philosophy", which aims to promote the world heritage of ideas and
wisdom in order to enhance the acceptance, appreciation and understanding of all
traditions of thought. By promoting traditions of thought from all over the world, the
project will work to fight against ignorance, which fosters discrimination and exclusion.
