Building the capacities of information staff working in documentation and information centres on adult learning is a main objective of ALADIN. This is particularly important for ALADIN members whose information staff is having limited or no training in information management at all.
Currently there are two major ALADIN tools for capacity-building:
- PALDIN, the comprehensive learning package on Participatory Adult Learning Documentation and Information Networking
- The ALADIN Toolkit for setting up basic documentation centres on adult learning
