Where do we operate ?
![]() Nine low income countries - Burkina Faso,Guinea, Malawi, Mali, Mongolia, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Uganda - have been targeted so far, all of which are undertaking education reform or major education projects and are facing severe difficulties in providing the instructional materials necessary to meet the demand from the education sector. | ![]() | ||||
While the program is unable to provide on-going funding to activities in non-participating countries, it has nonetheless attempted to assist other UNESCO Member States facing similar book development problems and plays a catalytic role both in Africa and further afield. The major concern is to transfer some of the insights, knowledge and experience gained during programme implementation to other countries and to assist them in translating these lessons into concrete actions at the national level. | |||||
