Planning Approach to Educational Buildings
![]()
The educational buildings planning process can be divided into four phases: diagnosis and analysis, research and development, planning, and implementation.
These four activities are linked and depend on each other, but their sequence should not be viewed as fixed since they are flexible and due consideration should always be given to the situation prevailing in a country and the optimum timing of actions be taken. Seen like this, they can help to deal with priority problem areas and thus respond in a pragmatic manner to the level of advancement of the planning process in each country.
