The Steering Committee has approximately 20 members. It develops the
Work Programme and oversees the implementation of the activities. It meets twice per year.
Steering Committee
WGESA has approximately 80 associated
members distributed in 37 countries in Africa, Europe and North America. Fifty-six of
the members belong to 24 different countries in Africa. They are regularly informed of
WGESA activities and are invited to seminars.
WGESA has at present 25 contact persons in 23 different
countries in Africa, and two contact in two different countries outside Africa. They are
the focal point for the dissemination of the work of the group.
The resource persons participate actively in the planing and
implementation of WGESA activities.
