The purpose of the International Network for the Information in Science and TechnologyEducation (INISTE) is to promote exchange of information and stimulate cooperationamong national institutions of UNESCO Member States and international andregional organizations actively engaged in the improvement of science andtechnology education, particularly with reference to primary and secondaryschools and related teacher training, as well as out-of-school scientificactivities for young people. The objective is mainly to provide informationwhich will strengthen regional and international cooperation and researchin the field of science and technology education, and to promote greaterexchange of ideas and information using new information technologies betweeninstitutions.
