Roundtable on Teachers

For the first time, Education International will broadcast a media event on the European Union satellite, just before World Teachers’ Day . The programme available in English and French for this first experience and produced in cooperation with UNESCO and the European Union, will show the importance of the role and the responsibilities of teachers in a changing society.

This programme will be received at the same time by all the television channels, which usually pick up the “Europe by Satellite” programmes, whether individuals or groups (schools, universities etc.) equipped with a satellite dish, in all European countries and in most Middle Eastern and North African countries.

This programme of approximately one hour can be received by individuals and groups on :

Eutelsat II F2 at 10° E; Transponder 21; 
Down link frequency 11.080.000 MHz; 
Polarisation: horizontal; Video deviation 19 Lhz/Volt; 
Audio subcarrier 6.60 MHz, 
75 µs pre-emphasis; 
Audio deviation 300 Khz pp.; 
Wegener Panda 1 Subcarriers 7.02, 7,20, 7.38, 7.56 MHz.
