    Other information
The Philippines has defined the EFA planning structure, formulated the EFA 2015 work programme, done the initial costing of the EFA planning exercise and held the initial consultations with civil society groups.

The national EFA goals will include only 5 goals since the Philippines feels that gender equality is not an issue in the Philippines. What remains to be done is to activate the EFA planning structure, to hold nationwide consultations with the stakeholders, to update the EFA database and to formulate the plan and validate it. Inter-sectoral consultations have been planned to ensure that other sectoral groups related to children and out-of-school children are captured.
