| - Cambodia is in the process of defining the EFA objectives through situation analysis and has set up, within the framework of its National EFA Committee (NEFAC), a Working Group for each of the six EFA goals and an EFA Secretariat which is financially and technically supported by the Ministry of Education, UNICEF, UNESCO and NGOs. - The participation in NEFAC includes concerned ministries, civil society and the private sector. Also within this framework provincial, district and commune level consultations are held including parents, teachers, students and relevant NGOs. A wider consultation with relevant stakeholders is still needed.- Cambodia is planning to have a National Symposium in April 2002 to finalize and review the draft of the EFA Action Plan. Inter-sectoral consultations are done in the framework of the National EFA Committee. |
