    Other information
Indonesia will review the National Education Development Plan which was developed in 1999 with the possibility of being adjusted under the framework of Dakar Framework of Action objectives and has indicated that there is a need to conduct a comprehensive education sector analysis.

Indonesia has established an EFA national coordination mechanism and a multi-sectoral National EFA Forum including a Technical Working Group and a Core Team which works full-time on the preparations on the EFA National Action Plan. The Core Team has produced a budget proposal to mobilize funds from the national and regional government budgets and from donor agencies such as UNESCO, UNICEF, AUSAID, World Bank, ADB, Dutch government etc. for the preparatory activities but not for the plan itself.

The government of Indonesia has invited relevant NGOs and professional associations to participate in the National EFA Forum and has a continuous dialogue with NGOs on the six objectives of the EFA National Action Plan.

The inter-sectoral consultations have been held through National EFA Forum meetings as well as through formal inter-sectoral coordination by the National Planning Ministry. Consultations with all related stakeholders and other organizations still remain to be done.
