| | UNESCO Almaty is supporting the work of the group through a) conduct of a national project in EMIS; b) financial and technical support to prepare and complete the national plan of action; c) integration of EFA priorities and strategies within the national 2000-2030 national development plan. Although the group has met in several occasions no real progress has been achieved thus far in the preparation of the EFA plan. Recently, the EFA national coordinator has been transferred to another Ministry and MOE has not appointed a new EFA coordinator yet. It is expected to hold a separate meeting during the EFA Forum on 17 January to discuss this issue directly with the Minister. | | |
