Access
is the promotion of entrance to post-secondary institutions
based on merit and equity. Lifelong learning, new technologies,
and a global knowledge culture play a large role in the promotion
of equitable access to higher education.
Mobility
between higher education institutions means promotion of opportunities
to move between institutions and courses within and between
national systems. It also implies virtual mobility (e.g. e-learning
provisions)
Quality
Assurance is a general term that includes evaluation as
well as all other mechanisms through which the quality of
higher education is assessed and evaluated.
