SloveniaSIAE – Slovenian Institute for Adult Education
The Slovenian Institute for Adult Education (SIAE) was founded in 1991 and is the national non-profit institution for research, development, education, information, promotion and guidance in the field of adult education. Since 1996, SIAE has been acting as the national co-ordinator of the Slovenian Lifelong Learning Week thus contributing to the implementation of the strategy of lifelong learning for all, promoting examples of good practice and giving space to learners by granting awards for outstanding learning achievements. In addition, SIAE has been fostering international cooperation and the transfer of know-how related to learning festivals.
