The Norwegian National Commission for UNESCO, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Research, subsequently delegated the responsibility for coordinating and managing ALW to the Norwegian Association for Adult Learning. The Goals of ALWThe goals of the Norwegian ALW are to strengthen the rights of adults, to motivate them and to show them possibilities for learning regardless of their background, and to present the variety of methods, providers and issues in adult learning.
