Festival of Lifelong Learning and Adult Education

The Festival of Lifelong Learning and Adult Education (LLL/AE) has already taken place in Spain in the years 2003-2005, meanwhile at national, regional and local level. The overall objective has been to develop and to implement global strategies for the promotion of adult education, and to influence political strategies for the development of adult education, and for the recognition and valuation of learners and learning processes.

So far, the overall motto of the festival has been: "All life is an opportunity to learn. European citizenship through Education"

The central topics have been: employability and innovation for personal development, values of coexistence, intercultural learning and tolerance, and the education and social inclusion of women.

Target Groups include: people and institutions that participate in adult education, media, politicy makers at national, regional and local level, and people who do not (yet) participate directly in adult education but might have a potential interest.
