International Adult Learners Week
in Europe

Network of Learning festivals

The second IntALWinE activity that involved adult learners from the partner countries was the collection and publication of their stories of learning.

It was and remains to date the first international publication containing voices of learners from fourteen different European coutrnies. The booklet was published in three languages (English, French and German), but retained its overall symbolic and universally understandanble title "I did it my way."

Being a powerful advocacy tool, print copies have been very much in demand and have been widely disseminated. Yet, some copies are still available (for free) at the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL). Contact: Bettina Bochynek b.bochynek@unesco.org

The publication has equaly been translated into Hungarian, Greek and Bulgarian by the respective IntALWinE partner. (For print copies of these versions, please contact the network partners from Hungary, Greece and Bugaria.)
