Contact UNESCO-Institute for Education User Information The Documentation Centre and Library is accessible during opening hours. Residents of Hamburg can borrow materials - except periodicals and reference materials - free of charge for four weeks. Opening Hours
Online Catalogue The Documentation Centre catalogue, listing more than 14.000 materials since 1991, is accessible online. Older material can be accessed via a card catalogue in the Documentation Centre and Library. Special Collection The Documentation Centre holds a Special Collection of at present more than 7.000 sample learning materials used in adult literacy, post-literacy and out-of-school education from more than 120 countries in more than 160 languages. The Special Collection catalogue is accessible online. Periodicals The Documentation Centre currently receives 200 educational and social science periodicals (journals, newsletters and magazines) from all over the world. New Acquisitions The regularly published List of New Acquisitions informs about newly catalogued books, documents and articles available in the Documentation Centre. Lifelong Education Bibliography The Lifelong Education Bibliography is published periodically to inform about publications on lifelong learning acquired by the Documentation Centre. Bibliographies The UIE Documentation Centre and Library prepares tailor made bibliographies based on its collection, free of charge on request. Please have a look at the list. ALADIN The UIE Documentation Centre coordinates ALADIN, the Adult Learning Documentation and Information Network. ALADIN connects more than 100 documentation centres focusing on adult learning worldwide. |
