“Adult Learning Links” are added to Aladin Website

Nearly 200 annotated “Adult Learning Links” have been added to the website of the Adult Learning Documentation and Information Network (ALADIN). This is the result of the ALADIN Task Force decision earlier this year to make the ALADIN website a knowledge platform for research on Adult Learning. The links were mainly collected and annotated by ALADIN Task Force member Eva Kupidura and organized for the ALADIN website by ALADIN Co-ordinator Lisa Krolak.

It is now possible to search for full-text materials, abstracts, reference material, online journals, databases, statistics etc. in the area of Adult Learning. Important sub-areas of Adult Learning are included with their own links such as literacy and popular education.

The “Adult Learning Links” shall also serve the ALADIN community for capacity building in the area of information management. Therefore a link has been added with Resource Center Tools, which includes links to online manuals on library management, on how to set-up and run a Documentation/Resource Centre and how to develop Internet and IT skills.

The “Adult Learning Links” will be constantly updated and any comments, especially with additions to the new links, are welcome.
