Report on External Evaluation of UIE available online In the context of a series of evaluations undertaken in UNESCO's educational institutes, a team of external evaluators from the Norwegian Organisation NIFU Step visited the UNESCO Institute for Education in November and early December 2005. Focus of the exercise undertaken under the aegis of the department for Internal Oversight of UNESCO was on relevance of UIE’s activities to UNESCO’s programme priorities, results achieved by UIE contributing to UNESCO’s efforts in achieving the EFA goals, quality of co-ordination and interaction between UIE and other UNESCO bodies, and funding patterns and mechanisms.
