On 1 September, 19.00 hrs., a reading will be held in the Hamburg Literaturhaus, organized by UIE in cooperation with the Federal Literacy Association, the Ernst Klett Sprachen Publishing House and the Basic Education Centre of the Hamburg Adult Education Association. The renowned German actor Christian Quadflieg will read the texts. Jürgen Genuneit of the Literacy Association will hold a lecture about illiterates in literature.
