Principles for Adult Learning in Canada
Inspired by the Belém Framework for Action, the Canadian Commission for UNESCO and its partners in International Adult Learners’ Week have issued a leaflet that highlights the BFA principles on policies, governance, quality and equity with particular attention to languages and cultures. A Draft Declaration of Principles for Adult Learning in Canada is presented focussing on the establishment of the basis of a dialogue among governments, learners, non-governmental organisations, trainers, families, and individuals engaged in adult learning.
