Biodiversity
Education for Sustainable Development addresses biodiversity by focusing on the interlinking issues of biodiversity and livelihoods, agriculture, livestock, forestry, fisheries, and more.
The Decade offers an opportunity to better understand how consumption impacts biodiversity at local and global levels, to sensitize young people to their roles and responsibility in this process and to advance progress in human resource development, education and training to prevent habitat loss and degradation, species loss, and pollution.
