Patrick Montjourides

Associate expert

Patrick is a Junior Professional Officer financed by the French government and joined the GMR team in 2007. He holds a “Maitrise” in international economics from the University of Paris Dauphine and a Master’s degree in education economics from the University of Burgundy. He is now pursuing a PhD in association with IREDU, the Institute of Research in Education: Sociology and Economics of Education, based in Dijon. He is particularly interested in the question of national financing of education. Before joining the GMR Patrick was under contract for a year to the French Ministry of Research and also served as treasurer for a non-profit association called Fleur de Bitume (Asphalt Flower) that gives literacy courses to adults.
