The CI Commission is responsible for the following items during three debates:

•  Item 4.2 (Debate 1)
  Consideration and adoption of the Draft Programme and Budget for 2010-2011 - (35 C/5 Rev. Vol 1 and Vol.2, Part II.A: Major Programme V - Communication and Information).
• Item 5.9 (Debate 2)
  Report by the Director-General on the follow-up to the World Summit on the Information Society (35C/46)
  The Director-General submits to the General Conference a follow-up report on all decisions taken by the World Summit on the Information Society so that the General Conference may discuss the results obtained since the second phase of the Summit (Tunis, 2005) and UNESCO’s role in the implementation thereof.
• Item 5.16 (Debate 3)
  Multicultural Library Manifesto of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) (35C/51).
