Objectives

• The purpose of the Chair shall be to enhance information transfer as well as support the utilization of coal gasification technology in China through university-industry partnership and through the organization of a series of conferences, seminars, exhibitions, training courses on modern coal gasification processes and through a website.
• The Chair shall organize such other activities related to the above as may be deemed appropriate by the Institute, in consultation with and approved by UNESCO and SHELL.
