Lahore College for Women University (Pakistan)

Fields/Disciplines: Science education and environment.

 Objectives:     

The objective of its activities shall be:

  • to develop and train women science teachers, both formal and non-formal education, who can work in the community;
  • to suggest and apply Best Options (BPOs) to create awareness and motivation for the understanding of the important development issues and remedial measures, bringing together the decision makers, local bodies, political quarters, government and NGOs for future planning and management; and
  • to develop network and linkages involving women scientists for future collaboration and research on various development issues related to the use of science and technology at the national, regional and international levels.
