Education for sustainable development.

Objectives

The specific objectives of this Chair are to:

  • develop multi-disciplinary undergraduate and post-graduate programmes on sustainability and provide training on this issue;
  • carry out research on sustainability and related issues, ranging from economics to social sciences and policy, and disseminate the results widely;
  • develop relevant materials and provide training to senior executives; and,
  • organize seminars and conferences to facilitate networking, as well as the sharing of knowledge and good practices on sustainability.
