Objectives

• To promote an integrated system of research, training, information and documentation activities in order to promote international cooperation and specialized training in the fields of culture and management of local cultural policies.
• To study thoroughly the role of local cultural policies in the process of globalization.
• To stimulate reflection on the problems of interculturality and dialogue among cultures in the contemporary society.
• To facilitate collaboration between high-level internationally recognized researchers and the teaching staff of the University, and other higher education institutions mainly in Spain, Europe, Latin America and Africa.
