Objectives
The principal objectives of this Chair are to:
- promote economic and social progress in developing countries;
- contribute to the application of skills and knowledge in order to enhance international development;
- empower developing countries' stakeholders through capacity-building and collaboration in transnational research; and:
- empower the developing partners countries to contribute to the social, economic and cultural development of their countries through education, research and knowledge transfer designed to contribute to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.
