Environmental policy and management.

Objectives

  • To promote an integrated system of research, training and documentation activities focusing mainly on the analysis of the multiple relations between environmental policies and development programmes, and on the opening of policy dialogue between the social stakeholders concerned (State, local authorities, NGO, business, trade unions, scientific communities, etc.).
  • To sensitize public opinion, scientists and decision-makers to the most appropriate policies and programmes in the field of sustainable development, emphasis being put on urban ecology.
