Objectives
The specific objectives of this Chair are to:
- contribute, through research, training and environmental education, to the implementation of the Cuban Sustainable Development Plan;
- promote interdisciplinary and institutional dialogue aimed both at identifying approaches that contribute to environmental conservation and sustainable development of the country and of the region, as well as to the study of the interrelationships between environmental conservation and gender issues; and,
- foster the systematic organization of meetings, seminars, workshops and the exchange of knowledge both at a national and international levels, related to environmental conservation in a North-South and North-South-South dynamic.
