Objectives

The main specific objectives of this Chair are to :

  • collaborate closely with UNESCO to accomplish its objectives in Bioethics;
  • collaborate with other UNESCO Bioethics Chairs in achieving common goals, in coordination with UNESCO;
  • collaborate in the piloting, implementation and development of UNESCO’s Core Curriculum in bioethics and e-learning;
  • participate in the programmes of the University of Monterrey which have bioethical content;
  • interact with local bioethics organizations to combine efforts in the development of human resources trained in bioethics; and,
  • promote the development of a doctoral programme in bioethics.
