Objectives
- The purpose of the Chair shall be to promote an integrated system of research, training, information and documentation in the field of cultural and comparative studies on the imaginary.
- This is in order to favour the interdisciplinary comparison of knowledge and methodologies improving researches on the imaginary, thus contributing to diffuse them worldwide and to grant the dissemination of results through the creation of an International Magazine, and to promote the integration of young researchers.
- It will serve as a means of facilitating collaboration between high-level, internationally recognized researchers and teaching staff of the University, other institutions in Italy and Europe and North America, and in other regions of the world to encourage them to include this subject in their research scope.
- The ultimate goal is to consider the studies on the imaginary as a major contribution to the origins and cultural identities.
