Benefits
The LEADHER Programme will award a maximum of 10
Grants of up to €7,000 each in
a single competition held for the 2008-2009 period. The LEADHER
Grants may be used to cover the costs related to one or more learning
visits undertaken as part of the project. Grant amounts may vary
depending on the number of learning visits planned, the number of
participants and the needs associated with each project.
LEADHER Grants are not
intended to cover the full costs associated with implementing projects,
even for projects comprising a single learning visit. Therefore
participating institutions are expected to invest in the project by
contributing support, financial and/or in-kind, to offset the overall
costs.
LEADHER Grants will be disbursed according to project budgets.
Once the projects selected, LEADHER Grants will be disbursed by bank
transfer to one of the partner institutions, identified as the partner
to receive and account for the funds. It will be disbursed in two
parts: half immediately and half once the project report has been
received by IAU.
