LEADHER Reform Area
The LEADHER Programme encompasses collaboration
focused on several broad areas of
higher education institutional reform. Institutions interested
in participating in LEADHER must focus their partnership on one or two
of the following reform areas:
- Revenue generation, diversification of funding
sources and financial accountability
- Application of internal quality assurance measures
- Institutional governance and decision-making
structures
- Research planning, management and dissemination
- Use of ICTs in learning, research and/or management
- Recruitment and professional development of faculty
and staff (HRM)
- Student access and equity policies, including actions
to secure success
- Student counseling, guidance and social services
- Outreach, community and extension services
- Incorporating sustainable development into the
curriculum and campus management (greening)
- Internationalization strategies, including curricular
reform and cross-border activities
