Highlights
of the 12th IAU 2004 General
Conference held in Brazil in July 2004 have been published in
collaboration with the University of Sao Paulo Press. The Wealth of Diversity: The Role of
Universities in Promoting Dialogue and Development was the theme
of the Conference and many of the keynote presentations are brought
together in this volume.
