The database on Higher Education
Systems includes information available on the
higher education systems of some 180 countries and territories
worldwide. It should be noted that the designations employed for
countries and territories in the World Higher Education Database
(WHED) do not imply any expression of opinion of IAU with regard to
their status or the delimitations of their frontiers.
The data is part
of the WHED CD-Rom, which also
contains detailed information on all institutions of higher education
of the
countries described.
The information provided here is based on the academic year 2005/2006.
