The Australian Research Institute in Education for Sustainability has released a new series of reports that question how we effectively educate for sustainability. Each volume reviews a specific sector and identifies gaps and needs in Environmental Education so that they can be strategically addressed for the future. The issues covered make compelling reading for all those involved in the design and delivery of Environmental Education which includes policy makers, funding bodies, educators and researchers.
The five part series covers the following areas:
Volume 1: Frameworks for Sustainability
Volume 2: School Education
Volume 3: Community Education
Volume 4: Business and Industry Education
Volume 5: Further and Higher Education
The research for this series was conducted by ARIES for the Australian Government Department of the Environment and Heritage.
PDF copies of the full reports are available at the ARIES website: http://www.aries.mq.edu.au/project.htm
