Ubuntu Declaration on
Education and Science and Technology for Sustainable Development,
September 2002
Declaration issued by 11 of the World’s foremost global
educational organizations and scientific academies (one being IAU) at
Johannesburg World Summit on Sustainable Development, stating that
there is a need to integrate a sustainable development focus into the
curriculum at every level of education, starting in primary school.
