Visiting Trainees Programme

Designed for education specialists who wish to take a flexible, short-term training course

Improving participants' professional skills by focusing on their specific training needs

  • Participants select one or several specialized modules corresponding to their needs.
  • They may supplement this with seminars and study visits, or undertake individual study under the supervision of IIEP specialists.
  • All modules are a part of the longer Advanced Training Programme in educational planning and management. They usually last from one to three weeks, on a full-time basis.

Many senior staff members of ministries of education and NGOs have participated in the programme
This programme is designed for those eligible for the Advanced Training Programme but who are only available for a short period due to work commitments.
It addresses the needs of:

  • practitioners in educational planning and management
  • those who have or will have responsibilities for training in this field
  • specialists involved in the design and implementation of educational development projects.
