Mark L. Parker (mparker@umuc.edu) is Executive Assistant to the Provost and Adjunct Assistant Professor, Graduate Studies at University of Maryland University College. In addition to his administrative duties he teaches an online expository writing course for new graduate students and is a member of the university's retention and research steering committees.
