The Sustainable Management of Marginal Drylands project aims at enhancing the sustainable management and conservation of marginal drylands in northern Africa and Asia. The project, which kicked off in 2002, uses harmonised methodology for study sites, allowing results comparing and knowledge sharing. This project document notably describes the project's rationale, funding and implementation.
