The International Scientific Conference on 'Multiculturalism and Post-communism: Tradition and Democratic Processes' in Dubrovnik, 27-30 November 1997, was organized by the Croatian Liaison Committee for the MOST Programme. The Conference gathered participants from Croatia, Canada, France, Germany, Norway, Poland, Russia and Ukraine. It focused on four broad issues: 1. Post-communism and new social paradigms 2. Social transformation, democracy and development 3. Integration, regionalism and new states 4. Cultural pluralism, minorities and globalization. A special session was dedicated to the presentation of the MOST project: objectives and scope of action presentation of the national MOST projects presentation of the Croatian MOST projects.
