MOST has organized, in collaboration with the UNESCO Offices in Tashkent
and Islamabad, and the UNDCP Office for Central Asia, the Sub-Regional
Workshop on " Globalization and the International Drug Problem in Central
Asia and Pakistan ". This workshop took place in Tashkent, on 14-15 December
1998.
The panels included participants from CAR countries and Pakistan, as well as international experts, national decision-makers and UN professionals. This workshop was organized in the framework of the MOST Project " Economic and Social Transformations connected with the International Drug Problem ".
