Project for Public Spaces (PPS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people of all ages create the kinds of places that build communities. This is achieved through technical assistance, training, research and education - as well as programs in parks, plazas and central squares; transportation; public buildings; and architecture and public markets. Since its founding in 1975, PPS has worked in over 1,000 communities, within the U.S. and abroad, helping people to grow their public spaces into vital community places.
