MOST organised, together with the Observatoire Géopolitique des Drogues, an International Colloquium on The Situation of Drugs in Sub-Saharn Africa: Production, Consumption and Trafficking, which was held at UNESCO Headquarters on 1-4 April 1997. This initiative was mainly financed by the European Commission and UNDCP (United Nations International Drug Control Programme).
