The National Commission consists of the following bodies:
- The General Assembly, which meets once a year;
- The Steering Committee (22 members), which meets four times a year;
- Four Sub-Commissions dealing with: (1) Education; (2) Information; (3) Science; and (4) Culture;
- The Secretariat.
Members/Composition
The National Commission comprises 69 members representing the Ministries (Education, Information, Science and Technology, Foreign Affairs, and Primary and Mass Education), several universities around the country, as well as the Secretary-General of the United Nations Association of Bangladesh.
